A portrait of strength and life bursting forth in a barren land, Tree of Life celebrates the heart’s (art’s) power to transcend even the most dire of circumstances. It is filled with deeply symbolic imagery ranging from human to animal, ordinary to mythical.

Printed professionally by Fidelis Art Prints of Vancouver, Canada from the original acrylic painting, the limited edition print went through multiple tests over a series of months to capture the range of colors in the original piece with near perfect precision. The resulting piece embodies the spirit of Heather Watts’ original work in a way rarely achievable in art prints.

Each print is signed and numbered by the artist.

Tree of Life was originally painted for the Art Gallery of Calgary show Down the Rabbit Hole in 2012 and has appeared in multiple publications since.  In 2015 the painting travelled to the Town of Viechtach, Germany as part of the show Venus Fantastische, an exhibition of surreal and fantastic art by women from around the globe.
