About “Where the Flowers Went”
Because of his noxious spray, the skunk has a natural flair for handling unruly protesters. He exists in a world of black and white, confident in the justness and necessity of his actions.
The classic folk song “Where Have All the Flowers Gone?” ends with a description of graveyards covered in flowers. Pictured here are the flowers that refused to grow on graves.
This painting is part of the series “The End is Near” which was exhibited at M Modern Gallery, Las Vegas, in May of 2007.
